It is the first book that I have read that has said any kind words about Camilla Parker-Bowles Who I Would Recommend This To: Anyone interested in history.
Title: Don't Know Much About History Author: Davis, Kenneth C. Brief Summary: A collection of historical anecdotes that debunk many of the myths and tell the real story behind many simplified versions we learned in school- from the explorers to 9/11. Thoughts on Appeal:Accessibly written and fun to discover the rich and well-documented history od our country that basic school history doesn't begin to cover. More useful as a reference than as a narrative reading experience. Easily digested~ approximately 1-2 pages per each story. Who I Would Recommend This To: American history buffs, highschool and up, great for a home reference.
